Happy New Year!

It’s a new year and I think everyone is ready for it! 2016 was filled with sad surprises: deaths of people we love and/or admire, political results, etc.

But, it’s a new year, so take a deep breathe and dive in.

I’m working on content and line edits for two short stories that will be included in Inkception Books’ anthology Always and For Never: Tales of Love, Loss and Forgiveness. I’m excited about this book for several reasons. One is my friend, Lisa Berryhill, will also have a story in the collection. She lives near Nashville, so we can do book signings together. Another is it adds more published works other than horror to my portfolio.

My primary goal for 2017 is to finish my novel trilogy and get it published. Finding a new agent would be nice, too, but I don’t want to get the cart before the horse. I’ll start looking again when I think the first one is ready for publication (which, I hope will be soon!)

So, where ever you are and no matter how good or bad 2016 was for you, I hope 2017 is much better.

Finally, not to forget: RIP Daddy 1/1/33 – 11/20/13
