Halloween Pumpkins

What would Halloween be without pumpkins?

This year we had our own little pumpkin to take to the Pumpkin Patch. On a crisp, sunny Saturday a couple of weeks ago, we accompanied Hubby’s son, our daughter-in-law and our 9-month-old granddaughter to Gentry Farms for her first visit to the Pumpkin Patch.

Our granddaughter got to see her first (real) cows, pigs, goats, chickens, rabbits and a turkey.

She discovered she liked to swing (though it took her a minute to decide). We weren’t sure whether she liked the excitement of the swing or the breeze from the motion on a warm day.

She preferred riding on Daddy or Pappy’s shoulders to her stroller.

Other fun things included a hayride and corn maze.

When the day was over, she was pooped! (as were we)

All too soon we said goodbye

We are looking forward to our next adventure with our granddaughter. And, we can’t wait to see our grandsons (ages 5 and almost 3) when they come home for the holidays.

Until then…happy Halloween! Be safe!
